काल की पहचान :
जब कोई काम वर्तमान समय (Present Time) में लगातार हो रहा हो, यानी बोलते समय वह काम जारी हो और खत्म ना हुआ हो, तो ऐसे वाक्यों को व्यक्त करने के लिए Present Continuous Tense (अपूर्ण वर्तमान काल) का प्रयोग किया जाता है। इसे Present Progressive Tense भी कहा जाता है।
वाक्य की पहचान :
Present Continuous Tense के वाक्यों के अंत में रहा है, रही है, रहे हैं, रहा हूँ आदि शब्दों का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
Present Continuous Tense मे Sentence के प्रकार
- Affirmative Sentence – सकारात्मक वाक्य
- Negative Sentence – नकारात्मक वाक्य
- Interrogative Sentence – प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य
- Interrogative Negative Sentence – प्रश्नवाचक नकारात्मक वाक्य
Affirmative Sentence
Affirmative Sentence (सकारात्मक वाक्य) में कर्ता (Subject) के अनुसार ‘is, am, are’ का प्रयोग सहायक क्रिया (Helping Verb) के रूप में होता है और मुख्य क्रिया (Verb) की पहली अवस्था में ‘ing’ लगाया जाता है।
Structure — (Sub + is/am/are + V1 ing + obj + .)
- मैं एक पत्र लिख रहा हूँ।
I am writing a letter. - वह आज स्कूल जा रहा है।
He is going to school today. - लड़के मैदान में क्रिकेट खेल रहे हैं।
The boys are playing cricket in the ground. - राधा बहुत अच्छा गाना गा रही है।
Radha is singing a song very well. - हम टीवी पर फिल्म देख रहे हैं।
We are watching a movie on TV.
Negative Sentence
Negative Sentence (नकारात्मक वाक्य) में सहायक क्रिया (is, am, are) के ठीक बाद ‘not’ का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
Structure — (Sub + is/am/are + not + V1 ing + obj + .)
- मैं आज तुम्हारे साथ नहीं आ रहा हूँ।
I am not coming with you today. - वह अपना समय बर्बाद नहीं कर रही है।
She is not wasting her time. - वे लोग हमारी मदद नहीं कर रहे हैं।
They are not helping us. - कुत्ता आज नहीं भौंक रहा है।
The dog is not barking today. - बच्चा कमरे में नहीं सो रहा है।
The baby is not sleeping in the room.
Interrogative Sentence
Interrogative Sentence (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य) में सहायक क्रिया ‘Is, Am, Are’ को कर्ता (Subject) से पहले लगा देते हैं। वाक्य के अंत मे प्रश्नचिह्न (?) ज़रूर लगाते है।
Structure — (Is/Am/Are + sub + V1 ing + obj + ?)
- क्या तुम आज दिल्ली जा रहे हो ?
Are you going to Delhi today ? - क्या राम अभी सो रहा है ?
Is Ram sleeping right now ? - क्या वे यहाँ अपना काम कर रहे हैं ?
Are they doing their work here ? - क्या मैं सच बोल रहा हूँ ?
Am I speaking the truth ? - तुम छत पर क्या कर रहे हो ?
What are you doing on the roof ?
Interrogative Negative Sentence
Interrogative Negative Sentence (प्रश्नवाचक नकारात्मक वाक्य) में कर्ता (Sub) के ठीक बाद ‘not’ लगा देते है।
Structure — (Is/Am/Are + sub + not + V1 ing + obj + ?)
- क्या तुम खाना नहीं खा रहे हो ?
Are you not eating food ? - क्या वह आज स्कूल नहीं आ रहा है ?
Is he not coming to school today ? - क्या वे लोग मैच नहीं देख रहे हैं ?
Are they not watching the match ? - क्या राधा कपड़े नहीं धो रही है ?
Is Radha not washing the clothes ? - हम आज बाज़ार क्यों नहीं जा रहे हैं ?
Why are we not going to the market today ?
‘Is, Am, Are’ लगाने के नियम :
यह बहुत ही आसान है, बस आपको याद रखना है कि किस Subject के साथ कौन सी Helping Verb लगेगी:
- Is का प्रयोग: He, She, It या किसी एक व्यक्ति/चीज़ (Singular Noun) के साथ ‘Is’ लगता है।
- Am का प्रयोग: यह सिर्फ़ और सिर्फ़ ‘I’ (मैं) के साथ लगता है।
- Are का प्रयोग: You, We, They या एक से ज़्यादा लोगों/चीज़ों (Plural Noun) के साथ ‘Are’ लगता है।
